Troy played his eighth session at club and received a free OWL.

The overall winner this week was Laurie.  Jim Burlant was second and Larry was third.

Mike won the "play of the day" - "contains u and v" with "uveitic" (104).  That play also won the 100+ point prize.

High game was 586 by Mike

High loss was 437 by Robert - the highest loss of the year so far. 

On July 13,  the 100 pt play will be worth $4.

Prizes:  Place prizes awarded to one-half of all participants when there are an even number of players (one fewer than half with odd number of players).  First place$=one-half the number of participants, decreasing by one for every additional place (e.g., for 10 players,  1st place=$5, 2nd place=$4, 3rd place=$3, etc.)

High loss: $3

Play of the day : $5 

100-pt play: $4 per week.  Pot increases by $4 each week if no one wins the prize

For new players (first time at any club): Free OWL after playing in club 8 times. 

All prizes awarded to the director go to pay for annual June anniversary session/party.
